Alano By The Bay club minutes

Meeting called to order by Bob E. at 6:48pm with the serenity prayer. Bob Eichenlaub, Charlie Birdsall, Candy Kniffin, Rich Holcombe, Linda Tracy, Eric Pearson, Lisa Molmen, Erin Taylor were in attendance.

Verification of the minutes from previous meeting. LIsa M made a motion to accept minutes as written. Linda T. seconded. Group accepted unanimously.

Bob E.: led discussion of bylaws for final draft. Linda T. motioned to approve the bylaws as amended by the group. Candy K. seconded. Group accepted unanimously. (Erin T. volunteered to frame the bylaws).

Lisa T. motioned to “proceed with the application for tax exempt status, 501c3”. Erin T. seconded.

Group discussion about liability insurance. Charlie B. motioned that the chair, Bob E., go to 2/21/16 West End Group Conscience meeting and request $800.00 donation for 501c3 and liability insurance for 2016. Linda T. seconded. Group accepted unanimously

Discussion of Alano By The Bay club rules. Discussion will continue at next board meeting.

Next Board Meeting 4/4/16

Linda T. motioned that “with the approval of the West End Group Conscience of the 800.00 funds, Bob E. will proceed with the processing of the 501c3 paperwork and purchasing the liability insurance. Erin T. seconded. Group accepted unanimously.

Candy K. motioned to close the meeting at 8:06 pm. Erin T. seconded. Group accepted unanimously
