Club Minutes
1/4/16

Meeting called to order by Bob E. at 6:45pm with the serenity prayer. Bob Eichenlaub, Charlie Birdsall, Candy Kniffin, Rich Holcombe, Linda Tracy, Eric Pearson, Lisa Molmen were in attendance.

Verification of the minutes from previous meeting. Eric P made a motion to accept minutes as written. Candy K seconded. Group accepted unanimously.

West End group accepted, with amendment to include holiday changes, rental agreement with Alano By the Bay.

Bob E.

a) will talk with landlord about a new lockset, 2nd exit and entrance markers asap.
b) has completed Tax Id.
c) ON HOLD - NFP paperwork at a cost of $400.00
d) established checking account
e) ON HOLD - 501c3 paperwork in process.

A motion was made by Lisa M. to change the name of TC Alano Club to Alano By the Bay. Seconded by Charlie B. Group accepted unanimously.

A motion was made by Linda T to accept the membership form supplied by Bob E. , seconded by LIsa M. The proposal was accepted with amendments to the language concerning affiliation and adding a disclaimer. Group accepted unanimously.

Charlie made a motion to have Bob E. purchase a safe and post office box. Candy seconded. Group passed unanimously.

Fundraising tabled for future meeting.

The fundraising committee was established with volunteers : Erin T, Candy K, and Linda T; Eric P. offered to provide help with early projects.

The bylaws will be posted for comments by Bob E. and Lisa M. on google docs. The bylaws will be cleaned up and presented by the next meeting.

The next meeting will be 2/1/16. Charlie B. motioned to close at 8:00pm. Lisa M. seconded. Meeting closed.
